JT, Samberg Bring Sexy (Mothers) Back

Editor's note, April 27, 2010: I was dusting out my posts and noticed this one that some how I had yet to publish. This was too good of an episode to leave it as a draft, plus Mama's day is right around the corner!

If you missed Saturday Night Live this past weekend, by all means find it on the web. Most notably, the show marked the return of the comic brilliance of cast member Andy Samberg and today's young blue eyes: Justin Timberlake.
You might remember the duo collaborating on the SNL Short "Dick in a Box" a crass tale of two cheeseball boy band rejects complete with feathered hair, matching goatees and parachute pants who show the women in their life how they truly feel. Their Christmas presents were, well, hipoxtic.
If it was possible to outdo themselves, they succeeded on Saturday with "Mother Lover," a tale woven by the guys as they leave a Brooklyn Correctional Center after 5 months of incarceration, a result oftheir Christmas present stunt, and they realize they don't have proper gifts for their mothers.
So they concoct, so to speak a plan: they'll each show each other's respective mothers real love. The result are some side-splitting scenes between the two and Susan Sarandon and Patricia Clarkson. If you haven't seen it ... be warned. It's taboo AND hysterical.
True comedy, after all, is about pushing the envelope. And this one tastes mighty fine when you lick the glue.
